We open the week at the last lime-bright breath of MERCURY CAZIMI in PISCES, when the planet of perception passes through the exact heart of the SUN. The word CAZIMI comes to us through the Arabic poets steeped in astrological lineage from a phrase meaning seated in the heart, a moment when a planet enters the royal chamber of the SUN itself. In the poetic symbolism this was not considered combustion but intimacy. MERCURY sits in the throne room of the SUN and receives clarity rather than burn. The mind is illuminated from within. Thought and perception move out of noise and into signal. In PISCES this illumination arrives through image, intuition, and the quiet recognition that something already known deep within the body is ready to rise into awareness.
The ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER for MARCH 8–14, 2026 explores inner knowing and alignment. The SUN continues its journey through intuitive PISCES, the twelfth and final sign of the ZODIAC, a place that contains within itself some experience of every sign that came before it. PISCES holds the oceanic memory of the full cycle of LUNATIONS (twelve months). Compassion expands here. Creativity becomes devotional rather than performative. There is a sense that the year is gathering its experiences back into the sea before the next beginning arrives. It is a RIP TIDE. On MARCH 8 VENUS meets SATURN in ARIES. SATURN only just crossed into ARIES and the sensation of this placement remains unsettled. When SATURN moved through PISCES beginning in MAY 2023 the experience often felt like swimming against a current. Vision was present but form was elusive. MARCH 11 carries a distinctly supportive shift as JUPITER completes its five-month retrograde and moves direct in midnight inked CANCER, the sign where JUPITER is exalted and able to express its nourishing nature fully. During this retrograde we have been immersed in emotional waters connected to sensitivity, and the ancestral foundations that shape our expereicnes of safety. The process has felt like being steeped in memory without a clear destination. Yet the medicine has been profound. We have been tending the parts of ourselves that required nourishment and recognition. As JUPITER moves forward in CANCER a renewed sense of trust returns. Growth begins again from soil that has been enriched by memory and care.
By MARCH 13 the week reaches another point of activation as MARS meets the NORTH NODE in PISCES. The LUNAR NODES are not physical celestial bodies but mathematical points that trace the intersection between the paths of the SUN and the MOON.
