ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER Week of April 19 - 25, 2026
We open this week still held in the arms of something luminous. The MOON moves through the last degrees of TAURUS in conjunction with VENUS, and there is a softness to it. A ripe, fertile quality, like soil after rain. This is not a passive energy. It is the kind of stillness that generates. The RENEWING MOON in TAURUS conjunct VENUS is asking us to receive and let what we have been reaching for actually land.
Before we move into the week ahead, there is something worth returning to. The NEW MOON in ARIES and the spark we are rooting. If you have not yet set your intention for this new astrological year, the invitation remains open. ARIES energy does not close a door it holds it wide for you to walk through. The NEW MOON that opened this cycle gathered MERCURY, MARS, SATURN, CHIRON, and NEPTUNE together in the fire of the RAM a concentration of will, vision, and initiation that arrives only rarely.
What was stirring in this past week. What rose up from beneath the ordinary surface of our days and asked to be named. That seed is still in our hands. This week asks to begin tending it into form.
April 19 | MARS conjunct SATURN and the SUN enters TAURUS
A conjunction is two or more cosmic bodies drawing so close to one another that their intentions merge their vibrations folding into something entirely new. When MARS and SATURN come together in ARIES, we are standing at the meeting point of initiation and commitment. MARS is will and SATURN devotion. MARS is desire, the fire that begins. SATURN is the quiet cradle, the architecture that holds what desire builds. Together, they offer something that neither can provide alone: the capacity to build something that lasts. This a vision that does not burn bright and disappear, but roots deeply into the life we are living. This conjunction is a moment to ask ourselves honestly what we are beginning, and is it something we are willing to tend. Not just in inspiration, but in the ordinary, unglamorous, deeply satisfying work of daily devotion.
On this same day the SUN moves from the heat of ARIES into the deep, patient earth of TAURUS. The second sign of the zodiac. An earth sign that lives in the body, in the senses, in the slow and radical trust of natural rhythm. Everything that ARIES stirred in us over recent weeks - the visions, the desires, the sparks of what we want our life to become, TAURUS now ask to bring down from the sky and place in solid ground. TAURUS season invites a slow down into what we are creating. It understands that speed disconnects us from the very thing we are trying to build. That presence is the medium in which anything real actually grows.
In AYURVEDA, this is the season of KAPHA beginning to yield. Earth and water release their heaviness into the warmth of new growth. Our physical bodies want to move, but also to rest. To be outdoors. To feel the ground. To remember that it belongs to nature. Let TAURUS season return us to our senses. To the smell of something warm in the kitchen. To the feeling of bare feet on grass. To the sound of our own breath moving without urgency. These things are the foundation of everything you are building.
To support this grounding and the sensory remembering that TAURUS invites, reach for the (Bohobo Aromatherapies) GODDESS BLEND. It is slow, deep, bright, and earthen. This blend helps the nervous system restore what safety feels like our flesh.

April 23 | VENUS conjunct URANUS and VENUS enters GEMINI
VENUS is connection and beauty, receptivity and worth. She is the part of us that knows what we love and is not afraid to reach for it. As she moves out of TAURUS and into GEMINI, something in us begins to expand to lean toward the world with curiosity rather than certainty. GEMINI is communication and shared discovery. It is the delight of a new perspective, the pleasure of a conversation that changes something in you, the particular joy of encountering an idea you have never held before. As VENUS enters GEMINI in conjunction with URANUS, expect a quickening in how we connect. New conversations. Unexpected beauty in unexpected places. A desire to listen differently, to speak more honestly, to engage with the world around us as though everything in it might be offering you something. Watch for what surprises you this week. A meeting, an exchange, a single sentence that opens a door. URANUS and VENUS together do not deal in the predictable. They deal in the revelatory.
April 25 | URANUS enters GEMINI and the SUN squares PLUTO
(Et voila. When we thought it would never end. This is the week's most significant threshold).
URANUS is one of the great outer planets (it moves slowly, and when it shifts signs, it reshapes the collective landscape for years). As it enters GEMINI on April 25, 2026, it begins a transit that will accompany us for the next six years. This is not a small event. It is a reorientation of how we think, communicate, learn, and share individually and together. URANUS in GEMINI brings a new way of perceiving. It breaks apart what has grown rigid in our minds. It dissolves narratives that have been mistaken for truth. It supports the evolution of how we speak to one another, how we listen, how we transmit what we know. Over the years ahead, expect the relationship between the human mind and the collective conversation to shift in ways we cannot yet fully imagine. This week is simply the beginning of our first encounter with that field. You may notice a restlessness in thought. A sense that something old in the mind is loosening. A desire for a different kind of conversation. This is the invitation becoming conscious.
On this same day, the SUN in TAURUS forms a square to PLUTO in AQUARIUS. A square is friction with purpose a tension that illuminates. Where URANUS opens the mind, PLUTO reaches into the underground. This square brings the conscious and the unconscious into direct contact. It asks what we you holding onto because we are afraid of who we would be without it. What patterns are operating beneath the surface of our choices shaped by shame, fear, conditioning that was never entirely ours to carry? This is not a comfortable transit. But it is a clarifying one.
As we step into this new chapter, we are being asked to travel light. Not in the sense of spiritual bypassing but in the sense of radical honesty. Only what is real and true can come with us. Anything we carry out of habit, out of fear, out of a story that no longer belongs to us that must be set down here, at the threshold. PLUTO does not negotiate. But it does liberate. Resins and roots that hold the emotional body while it releases are what is called for in this transit. If you are drawn to ceremony this weekend, light the POETRY Ayurvedic Incense and let it carry what you are ready to leave behind. I am exceptionally giving TWO AYURVEDIC INCENSE MAKING WORKSHOPS in FROME for this moment. I do not offer these workshops often. They are experiences to hold the forward journey. Not to be missed.
APRIL 25th 3-5pm (SOLD OUT)
MAY 2nd 3-5pm
ARIES ignites. TAURUS grounds. GEMINI opens. URANUS breaks free. PLUTO illuminates. The cosmos is not asking you to observe from a distance it is asking you to participate, consciously, in your own becoming. If you have personal placements in TAURUS, SCORPIO, LEO, or AQUARIUS please also read ABOUT URANUS.
This writing arrives each week because someone is listening for it. It is shaped slowly in genuine relationship with the sky, with the season, and with the people who find their way to it. If it has met you somewhere real this week, if something in it named what you are already sensing or gave language to what you are moving through that is the exchange this work is reaching for.
If it has landed, an offering through the link below is a beautiful way of honouring that. Not as payment for a product, but as participation in a living current the kind that keeps this work resourced, unhurried, and able to continue arriving each week with the same care and depth.
And if financial exchange is not available right now, sharing this with one person who will receive it is an equally real form of reciprocity. This work grows through resonance. Through the quiet passing of something meaningful from one person to another.
Both are welcome. Both keep the current moving.

SUN | MOON | RISING
These readings speak most clearly through the RISING sign, which orients the entire chart and places every planetary movement in its most precise and personal context. If we know our RISING, we begin there and let the SUN and MOON signs add their own texture to the story. For a reading that speaks directly to our own chart where this week, this year, and this remarkable moment of collective astrological movement lands in the specific architecture of our own life you are welcome to book an ASTROLOGY READING with me.
ARIES
This week, the fire lands squarely in our sense of self in the body, the face we show the world, the very ground of our identity. The MARS and SATURN conjunction asks ARIES something clarifying and direct: what are we actually building with all this desire, and are we willing to commit to it with the full weight of our being? This conjunction in ARIES is potent. It is will meeting discipline in the place where we live most immediately. The SUN then moves into our territory of money, resource, and self-worth, asking us to slow down and feel honestly into what we value and whether our material life reflects it. TAURUS season here is an invitation to ground our sense of identity in something tangible and real. As VENUS and then URANUS move into our communication and immediate environment, the weeks ahead will begin to reshape how we think, speak, and move through our daily world. Something in how we exchange with others is beginning to evolve.
TAURUS
This week holds a particular tenderness for TAURUS. The MARS and SATURN conjunction moves through the most private and interior part of our chart, the place of retreat, of spiritual practice, of what lives below the threshold of the ordinary. There is a call here to commit to the inner work, to honour what has been slowly completing itself in the unseen. We may feel drawn to solitude this week, not from avoidance but from genuine readiness to integrate. The SUN enters TAURUS itself, illuminating our identity, our body, our sense of self with a warm and steady light and with URANUS preparing to leave our sign after seven long years, there is a palpable sense of release available to us. We are not the same person we were. The SUN in our own sign asks us to inhabit that truth. VENUS and URANUS then move into our place of money and self-worth and over the coming years, the way we relate to resource, value, and what we believe we deserve is about to be transformed in ways that feel genuinely liberating.
GEMINI
The MARS and SATURN conjunction activates our friendships, community, and collective vision. There is something serious and clarifying here about who we belong to and what we are genuinely building together. We may be asked to commit more consciously to a group, a circle, a shared purpose or to recognise where a community no longer reflects who we are becoming. The SUN moves into the unseen interior, the quiet, the place of rest and spiritual replenishment and TAURUS energy here is asking us to slow down, to turn inward, to trust what is gestating beneath the surface. And then the truly significant movement: VENUS arrives in our sign, followed by URANUS crossing our threshold on April 25. This is a historic moment for GEMINI risings. The next six years will bring a profound awakening of identity, self-expression, and the way we move through the world. The self is entering a period of electric, inspired reinvention.
CANCER
The MARS and SATURN conjunction lands in our career, reputation, and public life and it arrives with genuine weight. Something in our professional world or our relationship with our calling is being asked to become more committed, more structured, more real. This is not a week to simply dream about what we want to contribute to the world it is a week to decide and to act. The SUN for us activates community, friendship, and collective belonging, warming that part of our life with TAURUS patience and presence. We may find that slowing down with our people, receiving from our community, nourishes something that ambition alone cannot. As VENUS and then URANUS move into our inner world of retreat, the unconscious, what lives in the hidden depths we are entering years of profound inner transformation. What shifts first in the unseen eventually reshapes everything.
LEO
For LEO, the MARS and SATURN conjunction moves through the core of belief, philosophy, and the meaning we make of our lives. This is a serious and summoning energy thst asks us to commit not merely to a vision but to the values that underpin it. Are we willing to build our lives around what we actually believe, rather than what is convenient or familiar? The SUN enters TAURUS shining light on career and public life. The SUN in TAURUS here is about slowing into our calling, grounding our ambitions in patience and embodied presence, trusting that the work ripens in its own time. TAURUS in this part of our chart reminds us that a sustainable legacy is built steadily, not seized. As VENUS and then URANUS move into areas of community and collective vision, something in how we belong, collaborate, and contribute to the world around us is about to evolve in surprising and liberating ways.
VIRGO
The MARS and SATURN conjunction moves through the deep and intimate places of shared resource, transformation, and what we hold in common with those closest to us. This is an invitation to look honestly at the structures of exchange in our most important relationships whether financial, emotional, energetic. Where have we been holding back? Where have we been overextending? Something here is asking to be made more conscious and more real. The SUN in TAURUS illuminates our belief and higher meaning, grounding our philosophy in the body, in the senses, in what we can actually touch and feel and trust. TAURUS in this part of our chart is a reminder that wisdom lands when we slow down enough to receive it. As VENUS and then URANUS move into our territory of career and public life, the years ahead will bring genuine evolution in our relationship with our calling how we work, what we offer, and how we are seen in the world are entering a period of inspired change.
LIBRA
Partnership is the central conversation of this week for LIBRA risings. The MARS and SATURN conjunction illuminates one-to-one relationships asking us where we have been passive, where we have been dominant, and where something in our closest bonds requires a more honest and committed engagement. This is not a week to keep the peace at the expense of truth. Something real is being asked for. The SUN enters TAURUS is in our place of intimacy, shared resource, and the deeper currents of exchange, slowing us into the hidden emotional agreements we carry with others, the ones rarely spoken aloud. TAURUS here is an invitation to receive depth rather than skim the surface of connection. As VENUS our own ruling planet and then URANUS move into areas of belief and expanding meaning, something in our relationship to philosophy, learning, and the world beyond the familiar is about to open in unexpected and electric ways.
SCORPIO
The MARS and SATURN conjunction moves through the part of our chart concerned with daily rhythm, physical health, and the work we do in the body. SCORPIO risings are rarely celebrated for their relationship with the ordinary but this week, the ordinary is precisely where the real transformation lives. Something in how we structure our days, tend our health, and show up for the small consistent acts of care is being asked to become more intentional and more honest. The SUN enters TAURUS and moves into our partnerships illuminating our one-to-one relationships with a steady, grounded light. TAURUS here asks us to slow into our closest connections, to be present with another rather than always seeking the depth beneath the surface. As VENUS and then URANUS move into our territory of shared intimacy and transformation, the years ahead will bring profound and surprising evolution in the deepest currents of our most intimate bonds. What we share financially, emotionally, energetically is entering a new chapter.
SAGITTARIUS
The MARS and SATURN conjunction moves through the part of our chart connected with creativity, pleasure, and the expression of the heart. This is an invitation to take our creative life seriously, not to perform or produce for external validation, but to commit to the practice of making something that is genuinely and unmistakably ours. SAGITTARIUS carrys vast creative fire; this week asks us to give it structure and devotion. The SUN lights daily life, health, and physical rhythm and TAURUS here is a gentle but clear reminder that the body needs tending. Pleasure, rest, nourishment, and the slow satisfaction of a well-kept daily practice are not small things they are the foundation from which everything else grows. As VENUS and then URANUS move into our territory of one-to-one relationship, the years ahead will bring evolution in how we partner, attract, and meet the other. The way we relate is entering a more liberated and surprising chapter.
CAPRICORN
Home, ancestry, and the private roots of who we are is where the week's most significant energy gathers for CAPRICORN. The MARS and SATURN conjunction, both traditional rulers of CAPRICORN, meeting in the most foundational and interior part of our chart, carries a particular potency. Something in the home, the family, the emotional architecture of our sense of belonging is being asked to become more honest, more committed, more real. This is private work, and it matters. The SUN enters TAURUS and moves into the area of creativity, pleasure, and self-expression warming the heart, inviting play, asking us to make something simply because it brings us alive. TAURUS in this part of our chart reminds us that joy is not a reward for work completed, it is a practice. As VENUS and then URANUS move into our territory of daily rhythm and physical health, the years ahead will bring a genuine renovation of how we live in our bodies and structure our days.
AQUARIUS
The MARS and SATURN conjunction moves through our territory of communication, learning, and the way we move through our immediate world. We may be called to have a conversation we have been circling, to commit to a course of study, to put words to something that has been living wordlessly inside us. There is also a quality of discipline here in the mind a call to think with both clarity and responsibility. The SUN enters TAURUS and illuminates our home and roots asking us to slow into the private, foundational layer of our lives. What does it mean to feel genuinely at home in our own skin, our own space, our own ancestry? TAURUS here is an invitation to stop moving long enough to feel rooted. And the week's most significant movement: PLUTO has been travelling through AQUARIUS, through the very ground of our identity and the SUN squaring PLUTO from our domestic territory brings the personal and the transformational into direct and sometimes uncomfortable contact. Who we are at home and who we are becoming in the world are asking to be reconciled. As URANUS moves into our territory of creativity and self-expression, the years ahead will bring a remarkable awakening of our creative and romantic lives.
PISCES
The MARS and SATURN conjunction moves through our place of money, resource, and self-worth asking us to bring both courage and discipline to how we invest our energy, our time, and our financial life. This is a week to honour what we have built and to commit with greater intentionality to what we are building next. There is real momentum available here if we are willing to meet it with structure. The SUN enters TAURUS and moves into our territory of communication, learning, and the immediate environment grounding our thoughts, slowing our words, asking us to speak and listen with the patience and presence that TAURUS carries. Something in how we communicate is asking to be more embodied, more deliberate, more real. As VENUS and then URANUS move into our territory of home and roots, the years ahead will bring surprising and liberating transformation in our relationship with home, family, and the deepest foundations of our sense of belonging. Where we come from is entering a new story.
