ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER Week of April 26 - May 2, 2026
The earth is in full flower.
TAURUS season has settled around us like warm soil after rain lush, unhurried, fragrant with everything that has chosen to return. The hedgerows are thick with blossom. The air carries sweetness without explanation. This is the season that asks us to stop moving long enough to actually feel where we are.
And yet this particular week holds both the stillness of deep earth and the crackle of something electric. Sensitivity and strength, tectonic movement and sensory presence. What the sky is offering us is the lived experience of safety not as something we find outside ourselves, but as something we remember we have always carried within. This is TAURUS teaching us its deepest truth. The body knows. The question is whether we are willing to slow down enough to listen to it.
VENUS moved into GEMINI just days ago and we will already be feeling the shift. She moves from her home sign where she has been lush and deeply embodied into something lighter, quicker, more curious. VENUS in GEMINI wants to talk, to listen, to try on new perspectives the way one might try on a coat simply to see how it feels. The energy brightens. Conversation becomes pleasure. She does not skim the surface for lack of depth she meets it with genuine delight.
She doesn'tt arrive in GEMINI alone. URANUS has just crossed completing one of the most significant astrological movements of 2026. After seven years in TAURUS seven years of disruption arriving in the body, in our finances, in the material foundations of our lives URANUS is now in GEMINI, and it will remain there for the next seven years. This is not a transit that returns. URANUS will not move through TAURUS again in our lifetimes.
For those of us with personal placements in TAURUS, SCORPIO, LEO, and AQUARIUS, we may have woken this week with something feeling genuinely, quietly different. Not announced. Not dramatic. Simply different. A particular pressure that has been present for so long we had forgotten it was not permanent has begun, at last, to lift.
For TAURUS placements, the liberation is intimate. URANUS has been moving through the very ground of identity through the body, the sense of self, the material conditions of daily life. As it moves on, there is space now to simply inhabit who we have become. For SCORPIO placements, the opposition has been felt across the axis of deep intimacy and partnership. Relationships have restructured. Hidden emotional agreements have been brought into the light, sometimes gently and sometimes not. The easing of this pressure does not undo what was revealed it allows us to integrate it. For LEO placements, the square has moved through career and public calling the professional identity asked to crack open and reform, unexpected turns taken, certainties dismantled. URANUS moving on now invites us to inhabit our authority more freely. For AQUARIUS placements, the square arrived in the most private and foundational layer in home, in ancestry, in the emotional roots that lie beneath everything visible. The release available now is deep, and may take time to fully register.
URANUS in GEMINI will reshape how we think, how we speak, how we exchange ideas, and how we understand the relationship between information and truth. This is a collective rewiring, and this week we stand at the very beginning of that new current.
We open the week with the MOON waxing and bold in LEO, having just passed its FIRST QUARTER. This is the lunar phase that asks us to act despite resistance to commit to what we said we wanted when the sky was dark and the intention still new. In LEO, that momentum arrives with creative fire. The MOON here asks us to be visible, to be generous with our gifts, to trust that what we have to express is worth expressing. Falling so close to VENUS and URANUS newly joined in GEMINI, there is a quality of inspired shaking loose of seeing our lives from a slightly different angle and finding, to our surprise, that we like what we see.
On April 26, MERCURY in ARIES forms a square to JUPITER. The mind expands sometimes beyond what is wise. This is a beautiful aspect for ideas and vision, for the kind of thinking that leaps ahead of itself with genuine excitement. In AYURVEDA we might recognise this as a flaring of VATA luminous and quick, but prone to scattering if not grounded. Follow the ideas. Write them down. And before committing to anything, sleep on it.
On the same day, VENUS reaches toward NEPTUNE in a gentle sextile. NEPTUNE is the higher octave of VENUS, and when these two meet in harmony something in us opens toward the imaginal. Art, fragrance, dreaming, the particular quality of light on water all of it becomes more resonant. This is a day for anything that requires feeling its way forward rather than thinking its way through.
By April 28, VENUS forms a trine to PLUTO both in air signs, both in genuine conversation with one another. This is depth without heaviness. The kind of exchange that changes something quietly a conversation that shifts how we see ourselves, a new understanding of what we find worthy of our devotion. We may find ourselves drawn to what is real, what carries genuine substance beneath its surface.
The FULL MOON arrives in SCORPIO on May 1, and it arrives with presence. Ruled by PLUTO, SCORPIO does not deal in the superficial. This FULL MOON illuminates the interior landscape of fear, desire, grief, and the parts of ourselves we were taught to keep hidden. It sits in direct opposition to the SUN in TAURUS, and this axis is the heart of what the lunation is asking of us. TAURUS holds the body, the earth, the tangible and the sensory. SCORPIO holds the emotional underground, the transformational current that runs beneath ordinary life. Together, they ask us to be present to both to feel safe enough in our own skin to also feel what lives beneath it.
The FULL MOON in SCORPIO asks us to meet what has been waiting in the corners of ourselves. The stories we inherited, the fears we mistook for truth, the aspects of our identity we learned to hide before we were old enough to know that was what we were doing. To acknowledge these things is not to be undone by them. It is to reclaim the energy spent keeping them in the dark. In AYURVEDA, this carries a quality of deep PITTA moving beneath the surface transformational fire in the watery realm of the unconscious. When met with awareness, this becomes the kind of inner heat that purifies rather than scorches.
On this same day, MERCURY meets CHIRON in a conjunction in ARIES. Three archetypes converge: ARIES, the courage to exist; MERCURY, the awareness that brings what is unconscious into language; and CHIRON, the wounded healer, the place where our oldest hurt becomes our deepest wisdom. CHIRON has been moving through ARIES since 2018, slowly surfacing wounds of identity, worth, and our right to take up space. As MERCURY meets CHIRON on this day of the FULL MOON, it gives language to what has been living below language. This is a day for writing, for quiet introspection, for sitting with the question of which stories we have been carrying that were never actually ours to carry.
And then, as if in answer, MERCURY moves into TAURUS on May 2. After the fire and speed of ARIES, after a week of depth and revelation and electric movement, the mind comes home to earth. MERCURY in TAURUS thinks slowly, deliberately, with its hands as much as its head. This is where insight meets integration, where understanding settles into the bones rather than simply passing through the mind. The pace shifts. The noise quiets. And in that quieting, something genuinely useful becomes audible.
This is the week asking us, in its entirety, to trust what we know not because it has been proven, but because we feel it. In the body, in the breath, in the slow and sovereign rhythm of our own inner life.
This writing arrives each week because someone is listening for it. It is shaped slowly in genuine relationship with the sky, with the season, and with the people who find their way to it. If it has met us somewhere real this week, if something in it named what we were already sensing or gave language to what we are moving through that is the exchange this work is reaching for.
If it has landed, an offering through the link below is a beautiful way of honouring that. Not as payment for a product, but as participation in a living current — the kind that keeps this work resourced, unhurried, and able to continue arriving each week with the same care and depth.
And if financial exchange is not available right now, sharing this with one person who will receive it is an equally real form of reciprocity. This work grows through resonance. Through the quiet passing of something meaningful from one person to another.
Both are welcome. Both keep the current moving.

SUN | MOON | RISING
These speak most clearly through the RISING sign, which orients the entire chart and places every planetary movement in its most precise and personal context. If we know our RISING, we begin there and let the SUN and MOON signs add their own texture to the story. For a reading that speaks directly to our own chart where this week, this year, and this remarkable moment of collective astrological movement lands in the specific architecture of our own life you are welcome to book an ASTROLOGY READING with me.
ARIES
This week the fire lands exactly where we live, in the body, the self, the immediate and personal ground of who we are. MARS and SATURN together in our identity have been asking us to build something real from all this desire and courage, and MERCURY joining CHIRON here on the day of the FULL MOON brings that conversation into the realm of the mind and the wound. What stories about our right to exist, to take up space, to want what we want have we been carrying without examining? This is a week of genuine self-reckoning, not harsh, but honest. VENUS and URANUS newly arrived light up communication, the local environment, and the way we move through our everyday world. The way we speak, think, and exchange with others is beginning to change in ways that will delight us over the coming years. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO illuminates our shared life, the intimate exchanges, the hidden emotional agreements, the places where we give and receive in ways we rarely name aloud. Something here is ready to surface. Let it.
TAURUS
The SUN is in our sign and the world is, briefly and beautifully, oriented around us. And yet this is a week that asks us to hold both the warmth of that and the depth of what the FULL MOON in SCORPIO is illuminating directly across our chart, in partnership, in our one-to-one relationships, the axis of self and other. Something in our closest bonds is being asked to be seen honestly this week. Not dismantled, but truthfully met. MERCURY and CHIRON conjunct in our interior, the unseen and the quiet, bring a profound quality of reckoning. Thoughts rise from below the surface. Old stories become visible in the space of stillness. This is not a week to rush. VENUS and URANUS newly arrived ignite self-worth and our relationship with resource, beginning a remarkable new chapter. Over the coming years something in how we understand our own value will evolve in ways we cannot yet fully imagine. For now we feel the beginning of that current. Something is loosening where it had been held too tight.
GEMINI
VENUS arrived in our sign days ago and URANUS has just crossed our threshold, and we are the sign most directly hosting the electric energy of this week. Something in us feels newly awake. Quicker. More curious. More alive to possibility. This is not restlessness, it is arrival. URANUS in our sign begins a seven year chapter of profound reinvention of identity, self-expression, and the way we move through the world. We are entering one of the most significant transits of our lifetime and this week we stand at its very beginning. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO brings focus to daily rhythm and physical health, surfacing something around how we tend our bodies and structure our days. Something in our routines may have been quietly depleting us. The awareness that surfaces now is useful, even if it is uncomfortable. MERCURY conjunct CHIRON in the eleventh asks what we are truly seeking from our people, and whether we have been honest about that. Then MERCURY moves into our interior at the week's close, and the mind turns inward, quieter, ready to integrate.
CANCER
MARS, SATURN, and MERCURY with CHIRON have been activating career, calling, and public life, and this week that conversation deepens. Something in our relationship with ambition and our right to be seen in the world is being examined at the root. Old wounds around authority and visibility are being brought into language. This is clarifying work, even when it does not feel comfortable. The SUN in TAURUS warms community and friendship with patience and steadiness. We are nourished by our people this week, supported by the quiet constancy of those who know us. VENUS and URANUS light up the interior, the unseen and the unconscious, beginning a long and fascinating transit through our private depths. Something in the hidden layer of our inner life is beginning to awaken and evolve in ways that will gradually, over years, transform us from the inside. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO illuminates creativity, pleasure, and the heart. Something we have been creating, or longing to create, or loving quietly, is asking to be fully acknowledged.
LEO
The FULL MOON in SCORPIO reaches into home, ancestry, and the emotional roots that lie beneath everything visible. This is a lunation that illuminates the interior of our domestic and ancestral life and asks us to meet honestly what has been living there. Something in the home, or in the inherited emotional patterns we carry from family, is ready to surface. MERCURY conjunct CHIRON in our philosophy and belief asks whether the stories we tell about the world, the frameworks we use to make meaning, are genuinely ours, or whether we have been living inside a philosophy handed to us before we were old enough to examine it. The SUN in TAURUS continues to warm career and calling with steadiness and patience. VENUS and URANUS ignite community and collective vision, beginning a long and electric chapter. The way we belong, collaborate, and contribute to the world around us is entering a period of inspired and surprising evolution.
VIRGO
MERCURY, our ruling planet, moves through intimacy and transformation, the hidden depths, the shared emotional underworld, the places where we touch what is most real in ourselves and in our closest bonds. On May 1 MERCURY meets CHIRON here, asking us to bring language to what has been living below language in exactly this realm. Old wounds around intimacy and what we believe we deserve in the most private corners of our lives are becoming more conscious. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO illuminates communication and the immediate environment, bringing into the light something in how we speak, how we are heard, and what has been left unsaid in our daily exchanges. Then MERCURY moves into partnership at the week's close, and the mind turns toward the other, slower, more deliberate, more willing to listen. VENUS and URANUS ignite career and calling, beginning a remarkable long transit. The work we offer the world is entering a period of genuine and liberating reinvention.
LIBRA
VENUS, our ruling planet, has just entered GEMINI and with URANUS alongside her she lights up philosophy, expansion, and the meaning we make of our lives. Something in how we understand the world, our beliefs, our appetite for learning, our relationship with what lies beyond the familiar, is beginning to open in unexpected and delightful ways. New ideas, new teachers, new geographies of thought are arriving over the years ahead. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO lands in self-worth and resource, bringing something into the light around our relationship with material security and the deeper question of what we believe we deserve. MERCURY conjunct CHIRON in partnership asks us to look honestly at the stories we carry about relating, the patterns, the inherited beliefs about love, the wounds that have quietly shaped how we show up for and with others. Then MERCURY moves into intimacy and transformation at the week's close. The mind goes deep. Let it.
SCORPIO
The FULL MOON arrives in our own sign this week and we feel it in the body before we understand it in the mind. This is our lunation, the one that speaks our language most fluently, and it is asking us to fully inhabit ourselves. To reclaim whatever authority we have been quietly handing away. To stop making ourselves smaller in the name of keeping the peace or avoiding the discomfort of being fully seen. The opposition to the SUN in TAURUS falls across the axis of self and partnership. Something in our one-to-one relationships is illuminated with particular clarity under this light. What have we been tolerating? What have we been afraid to name? MERCURY conjunct CHIRON in daily rhythm and physical health asks us to examine the stories we carry about our bodies and our capacity to care for ourselves sustainably. Then MERCURY moves into partnership at the week's close, and the mind turns toward the other with more patience and more willingness to build something real. VENUS and URANUS ignite intimacy and transformation, awakening something in our deepest interior that has long been waiting.
SAGITTARIUS
MERCURY and CHIRON conjunct in creativity, pleasure, and self-expression this week bring a particularly tender quality of reckoning. The wounds that surface are those around our right to be creative, to play, to express ourselves freely without justification or apology. Old stories about whether what we make is good enough, whether we are allowed to take pleasure seriously, whether joy is something we have to earn, are being brought into language and into the light. This is meaningful and ultimately liberating work. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO reaches into our interior, the most private and spiritually deep part of our chart. Something that has been gestating below the threshold of ordinary awareness is ready to surface. We do not need to force it. Simply be still enough to receive it. VENUS and URANUS ignite partnership and one-to-one relationship, beginning a fascinating long transit. The way we relate and meet the other is entering a period of genuine and surprising evolution. We will not relate in the same way in seven years that we do today.
CAPRICORN
MERCURY and CHIRON conjunct in home, ancestry, and the private interior reach into the foundational layer of who we are. The wounds that surface are old ones, inherited, ancestral, the kind that live in the body rather than the mind. Old stories about what home means, about what we received or did not receive in our earliest years, about the emotional architecture we were handed before we had words for it, are becoming more conscious under the light of MERCURY. This is deep and private work, and it deserves the gentleness and patience that TAURUS season offers. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO illuminates community, friendship, and collective belonging, bringing something into the light around how we show up within our circles and whether we allow ourselves to genuinely receive from others in return. VENUS and URANUS ignite daily rhythm and physical health, beginning a long transit of renovation in how we live in our bodies and structure our days. Something in our routines is entering a period of inspired and liberating change.
AQUARIUS
PLUTO continues its slow and profound movement through our own sign, through the very ground of our identity, and the SUN in TAURUS squaring PLUTO in the early days of this week creates a pressure point between who we are becoming and what we have built in the material world. Something is being asked to align more honestly. MERCURY and CHIRON conjunct in communication and the everyday mind bring this to language. Old patterns of thought, inherited narratives, the stories we tell ourselves about what is possible in the ordinary texture of daily life are being examined and gently released. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO illuminates career, reputation, and public calling, asking whether our public life genuinely reflects who we are becoming inwardly. VENUS and URANUS ignite creativity and self-expression, opening one of the most electric and inspiring chapters of our lives. What we make, how we love, and how we express ourselves most authentically is entering a profound and joyful period of reinvention.
PISCES
MERCURY and CHIRON conjunct in self-worth and resource ask us something quietly powerful. What do we believe about our right to be financially secure, to value ourselves honestly, to receive material abundance without guilt or apology? Old wounds here often live beneath our awareness, shaping our relationship with money in ways we have never fully examined. This is a week to bring those patterns into the light with curiosity rather than judgment. The FULL MOON in SCORPIO illuminates philosophy, belief, and the meaning we make of our lives. Something in how we understand our own story, the framework through which we make sense of all we have lived, is ready to deepen and expand. MERCURY moving into communication and our local environment at the week's close brings the mind into slower, more sensory engagement with what is right in front of us. We begin to notice our immediate world with fresh eyes. VENUS and URANUS ignite home and roots, beginning a long and surprising chapter of transformation in our most private and foundational life. Where we come from is entering a new story.
