GROUNDING with INCENSE and EQUINOX

Our HANDMADE AYURVEDIC INCENSE | GROUNDING is the one you all just can't get enough of and this is the week to understand why.

Seven cones full of wonder, expansion, PATCHOULI, ROSE, BLACK PEPPER and MARSHMALLOW ROOT at the front, BEECH, PALO SANTO, CLOVE, STAR ANISE, ORANGE and FRANKINCENSE underneath, burned to change the VASTU of a room, its elemental, subtle energy, the feeling that greets you the moment you walk through a door.

Smoke has done this work for longer than any of us have been alive. Burn the right bark, bush or resin, and the air of a room actually changes, not just its scent but its charge. Where an argument lingered, or hard weather left its residue, grief sat too long unspoken, smoke moves through and clears it. This isn't only subtle energy process. Scent works on the physical body directly, and in frequency, which is why a room can feel different within minutes of lighting a single cone, calmer, steadier, more truly your own.

We are a week out from the EQUINOX, and in the old WHEEL OF THE YEAR this point has a name: MABON, the second of the three harvests, sitting between LUGHNASADH, when the first grain was cut, and SAMHAIN, when the veil is said to thin and the final harvest comes in. MABON is the pause between the two, day and night briefly equal before the scales tip toward the dark.

This is a week for taking stock and perspective adjustment. Ask what you've grown this year that's worth keeping, and what you can let fall like a tree lets go a leaf. Give thanks for what came in. Balance the accounts of your own year, not just the financial ones: what you gave, what you received, where the scales still don't sit even. And begin, gently, to gather in, because the dark half of the year rewards those who prepare for it.

Burn theHANDMADE AYURVEDIC INCENSE | GROUNDING while you do this. It won't do the reflecting for you, but it will steady the room around you, and a steadier room makes for a steadier mind.
