ASTROLOGY for THE WEEK August 30 - September 5th 2026.
September at spitting distance and what did the summer make of us? Me, I am a willow tree. The season moved through invisibly, root-leveled, and only later will I see what as basket-cane. For now there is the energetic of having been through something vast, a tiredness that is less depletion and more sciactic-stretch running through the hollow of me. OJAS (our subtle bodies) and flesh asking to be nourished for what was so freely spent in service of becoming. Babe, the ECLIPSES have knocked me for stumps.
I am infusing saffron and whole cardadom in warm milk before sleep. Stewing peaches that didn’t make it. Not monitoring ghee. Eating meals without the urgency that the past few months demanded. The desire to tend to our OJAS comes exactly right on time. September is its own whole season. I write about it in LATE SUMMER tap through for your own free copy of the ebook.
August 31st hold promise. JUPITER meets SATURN in the fire sky. Expander and architect in courting conversation for the first time in years. What the summer revealed in us (in us and not outside of us), what the eclipses, flattening heat, and the charged field of this extraordinary July and August opened in self, now has the structural intelligence to become real and lasting. The vision discovers its bones in building.
Fierce and feeling-led desire of recent weeks runs into the gap between what our hearts have been driving toward and what the ground can currently is apparent on September 1st. We must be very careful to not take this as failure. It is a load-bearing test. The discomfort of this day is information. Sit with it long enough to hear what it is saying rather than reaching immediately for a way around it.
The LAST QUARTER MOON on September 4th completes the eclipse cycle’s first turn into the waning. What was seeded in the solar eclipse of LEO, composited in the lunar eclipse of PISCES, is now doing its invisible work below the surface of daily life. The compost turning in the dark. The root-level work that makes the spring possible. This phase is preparation. There is discipline in trusting what cannot yet be seen.
We are not who we were in May. Me, the willow tree does not look different inside the heat because it is the fire that is draws attention. Only afterwards in the depth of the root, in the way I hold myself in the next wind, in the poetry my leaves play, will you see what this season made of me.
We are becoming legible to ourselves. JUPITER and SATURN are building in the fire of the sky. We have not given up nor in.
What that means in your specific chart, in the life you are actually living right now, is written HERE for your SUN, your MOON, your RISING.
