ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER | TAROT | FOR THE WEEK December 7–13, 2025

ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER | December 7–13, 2025

The days turn, and something in us turns with them. There is a subtle but unmistakable sensation of forward-motion gathering beneath the skin — creativity flickering back to life, clarity returning in small but certain pulses. We are not sprinting yet, but the ground feels less muddy. The horizon, less blurred. This week asks us to trust that what has been stalled is beginning to breathe again.

On December 8, MARS in SAGITTARIUS forms a square to SATURN in PISCES, and the air tightens. Squares create tension, friction, pressure — but also ignition. If there has been an inner agitation, an unnameable restlessness, or the sense that something wants to shift but hasn’t yet, this is the catalyst. It may feel like a hand pressed gently (or not so gently) at the small of your back urging: go on then… take the step. The mind may resist; the body knows. The angst isn’t here to punish you. It’s here to show you your next arrow.

As the MOON moves into LEO, the emotional weather brightens just enough to give us courage. Leo moon days remind us of our pulse, our desires, our creative selfhood — the part of us that wants to be visible, expressive, and unafraid of wanting. Even if the world feels chaotic, your inner fire is trying to reignite. Feed it.

And now, the great turning point: on December 10, NEPTUNE stations direct in PISCES after a long retrograde that began in July. Neptune retrogrades are foggy, dissolving, sometimes destabilising periods — the psyche loosens, the boundaries blur, the old wounds and old illusions rise to the surface to be rinsed out. With Neptune now moving forward, the waters are clearing. Slow clarity, not a lightning strike. A knowing that returns by degrees. Insight that comes like mist lifting, not a curtain whipping open.

Consider the past few months — the emotions, the dreams, the confusion, the unravelings. All of that was part of the cleansing. With Neptune direct, the deeper wisdom underneath begins to reveal itself. Faith returns. Vision returns. The ability to trust your intuition — not as fantasy, but as guidance — returns.

Layer this with the fact that MERCURY has recently stationed direct, and SATURN follows suit this week. One by one, the retrogrades that held us in quiet revision are releasing. The forward pull is unmistakable now. Not dramatic, not volcanic — but steady, certain, directional.

What does this week ask of you?

To acknowledge the pressure without collapsing under it.
To meet the friction as a sign of emergence.
To let the creative spark re-enter your body.
To trust the clarity rising from beneath the emotional waters.
To allow motion — slow, yes, but real — to return.

We are stepping into a different rhythm now.
And by next week, you will feel it even more clearly.

I have only a few spaces left on my books for ASTROLOGY and TAROT for the year. An astrology reading with me is a way to glimpse into the future—to understand where these tides are flowing in your own chart, what is closing, and what is waiting to begin. There is also the possibility to GIFT ASTROLOGY to a loved one at a time to be decided by them. Check out the GIFT ASTROLOGY

ARIES

This week stirs a deep internal tide. Mars in your ninth house pushes you to expand, move, learn, and reach higher, while Saturn in your twelfth house applies subtle pressure from the unconscious, asking you to look at what still binds you. You may feel pulled toward adventure or a new horizon, yet confronted by invisible limits or old emotional habits that keep you careful, hesitant, or discerning. This friction is not a stop sign but a refining force, sharpening your truth and aligning you with a more intentional direction. As Neptune shifts forward in Pisces, something lifts behind the scenes — a dissolving of fog, fear, or fatigue — gifting you a clearer inner compass. Let your body feel the impulse to move forward, but let your intuition guide the pace.

TAURUS

The tension this week is intimate and transformative. Mars ignites your eighth house, stirring deep emotions, desires, or shared resources, while Saturn in your eleventh house tests the boundaries of friendship, community, or long-term plans. This is a push–pull between vulnerability and vision: a desire to merge, to trust, to open, yet an equally strong need to ensure your future remains solid, sustainable, and safe. Something about group dynamics or a long-held dream may feel heavier now, asking for reassessment. But Neptune’s forward motion unravels an old knot in your social world, showing you who your real people are — the ones who meet you, not drain you. Trust the shift: your support systems are realigning.

GEMINI

Partnership becomes a live wire this week. Mars in your seventh house quickens the pace in relationships — conversations heat up, passions intensify, truths arrive without warning. Meanwhile Saturn in your tenth house introduces gravity, responsibility, or a career demand that occupies your authority. You may feel torn between showing up for someone and showing up for the work that defines you. This friction isn’t meant to pull you apart but to reveal the boundaries needed so you can hold your commitments with integrity. Neptune’s turn forward in your career sector softens the edges of confusion around your path and the role you’re meant to play. A clearer professional identity is forming; let relationships adjust around it.

CANCER

Mars in your sixth house activates your routines, your workload, and the daily tasks that require your energy. Saturn in your ninth house asks for wisdom, spiritual steadiness, and clarity of perspective. If the week feels like you can’t quite fit everything in, it’s because your system is renegotiating what is sustainable. Something in your worldview is shifting — you’re understanding differently what you owe yourself versus what you owe the world. With Neptune moving forward, meaning returns to your inner life, helping you reconnect with your sense of faith in what’s ahead. Let your choices be guided by what restores you, not what drains you.

LEO

This week touches the delicate terrain of desire and vulnerability. Mars in your fifth house lights up creativity, pleasure, romance, and self-expression — your fire rises, your courage returns, your voice wants out. Yet Saturn in your eighth house brings depth, responsibility, and emotional truth into the same arena. Something requires commitment, honesty, or boundaries. You may feel the friction between wanting to leap into joy and needing to honour the emotional or financial realities tied to others. This is not a denial of pleasure but a maturation of it. Neptune’s forward motion unblocks an old fear around intimacy or merging — and with that, a fuller version of your joy becomes possible.

VIRGO

Home and partnership speak loudly this week. Mars moves through your fourth house, stirring energy, decisions, or changes around home, family, or your emotional foundation. Saturn in your seventh house presses for clarity in your relationships — commitments, expectations, or dynamics that need recalibration. You may experience friction between tending to your inner world and honouring the agreements you share with others. This is the kind of pressure that shapes maturity, security, and trust. Neptune’s forward shift in your partnership sector helps dissolve old misunderstanding or confusion, offering a clearer sense of what you want to build with someone — or what you can no longer carry.

LIBRA

Your mind is alive and almost too awake this week. Mars in your third house accelerates thoughts, plans, conversations, and short-term tasks. Saturn in your sixth house, however, calls your attention to health, pacing, and the reality of your physical limits. The friction becomes apparent when the desire to do everything collides with the need to protect your body and focus on what truly matters. Neptune’s forward motion loosens something around your routines — a fog lifts, allowing you to see what genuinely supports your wellbeing. This is a week of refining your mental energy so your body can stay steady. Pieces of your rhythm begin to click into place.

SCORPIO

This week activates your relationship with value — what you earn, what you give, what you are worth. Mars moves through your second house, energising finances, desires, and the resources you want to strengthen. Saturn in your fifth house, meanwhile, demands that your creativity and joy take on shape, discipline, or a long-term structure. You may feel called to invest in something meaningful but also confronted by the responsibility or commitment it requires. With Neptune moving forward in your fifth house, creative clarity returns — a project, desire, or childlike part of you begins to speak more clearly. Trust the friction: it’s shaping your confidence.

SAGITTARIUS

This week is tender and fiery all at once. Mars is in your first house, igniting your body, your identity, your courage, and your instinct to move forward. Saturn, however, presses from your fourth house, tugging at home, family, memory, or emotional foundations. The friction here is between who you are becoming and where you come from. Old patterns or ancestral echoes may rise, not to stall you but to release you. Neptune’s forward shift softens an emotional knot inside you, helping you understand the story of your past with greater compassion. You are in a moment of reorienting your centre — let yourself grow into your next form.

CAPRICORN

The pressure builds inside your mind and inner world. Mars in your twelfth house activates hidden emotions, subconscious impulses, or old frustrations rising to be released. Saturn in your third house brings weight to your thoughts, schedules, and communications — you may feel the need to withdraw, slow down, or protect your mental space. Yet this is a deeply productive tension: something unspoken is being worked through so your mind can become clearer and more disciplined. As Neptune turns forward, fog lifts around communication or siblings, bringing a gentler understanding of what needs to be said — or what finally doesn’t. This is a week for internal realignment.

AQUARIUS

This week reveals the cost and value of your long-term dreams. Mars moves through your eleventh house, energising friendships, community dynamics, or the goals that propel you forward. Saturn in your second house provides a dose of realism — financial limits, resource considerations, or self-worth themes rise to the surface. The friction highlights where you overextend yourself, where generosity has become imbalance, and where you must ground your desires in practical support. Neptune’s forward motion helps soften old scarcity narratives, making room for a more honest and compassionate relationship with money and value. This is a recalibrating week for your future.

PISCES

This week lands right at the intersection of ambition and identity. Mars in your tenth house pulls you toward professional action, visibility, and purpose. Saturn in your first house brings the weight of responsibility, self-definition, and personal boundaries. The friction becomes clear when career momentum meets the need to protect your energy and pace yourself. But this tension is clarifying — it sharpens your sense of direction. As Neptune stations direct in your sign, you experience a softening of confusion, self-doubt, or overwhelm that has clouded you. A clearer version of yourself begins to emerge. This week is a turning point in how you step into your own authority.

TAROT OF THE WEEK

If this resonates with you and you would like to see more, and support this work, consider adding something to my TIP JAR

Eight of Pentacles

The Eight of Pentacles arrives this week as both mirror and mentor. Under the tension of MARS SQUARE SATURN, and with NEPTUNE STATIONING DIRECT, this card becomes a quiet, grounding instruction:
Return to the craft of becoming.

It asks you to step back from the overwhelm of possibility, the drip-feed of distraction, the what-ifs and not-yet’s, and instead recommit to the work that is already in your hands. Not the fantasy. Not the escape route. The work. The devotion. The small, steady repetitions that shape a life.

This is a card of refinement, of honing something that will outlast the week, the month, the season. It says:
Focus your energy — not tightly, but faithfully.
Loosen the perfectionism. Tighten the intention. Show up where you want to grow.

With NEPTUNE turning forward, illusions thin and a new clarity begins to surface. The Eight of Pentacles reminds you that clarity is not a lightning strike — it’s a practice. You choose it each time you return to the page, the plan, the craft, the promise. Each time you hold yourself gently accountable.

This week, dedicate yourself to one thing:
a skill, a habit, a dream, a structure, a path.
Something that wants your hands on it again. Something that wants to be shaped.

The Eight of Pentacles is not glamorous magic — it is the magic that accumulates.
The magic that builds.
The magic that transforms you from the inside out.

Let this be the week where your effort becomes its own form of prayer. Let this be the week where you remember:

You are the masterpiece, and also the maker.
