BREATHWORK and AROMATHERAPY to CENTRE the HEART - TAT TVAM ASI
Vedic perspective recognises that we all are and all are of ATMA. A universal vibration of consciousness or cosmic energy that cannot be destroyed. Tat Tvam Asi. YOU ARE THAT. You are the cosmic energy and the consciousness. TAT TVAM ASI. This is a non-dual realisation. We are ATMA. We are ONE.
ATMA JYOTISHI or Vedic astrology is to look into the stars to see the light of you. If ATMA is our stardust then our HEART is the VENUS, and luckily VENUS in the sky in TAURUS and that is about as CENTRED as she can get.
I am asking that we align with VENUS to ignore MARS (or the violent square being made with URANUS), that would create separation in a space where we dissolving duality, but to help connect a vibration of LOVE and COMPASSION for those who need to receive it most at the moment.
I have created and am offering you TWO easily accessible HEART OPENING BREATHWORK MEDITATIONS options with AROMATHERAPY companions that you can most likely find in your kitchen.

SEATED / STANDING -
Bring the breath into your centre ribs.
Allow the breath to expand so that your arms move a little outwards with the inhale, and the upper belly contracts a little on the exhale .
Breathe here at your own pace. If you find it hard to settle into it you can place your thumb and middle fingers in a slight pinch at the centre of your chest.
Allow your shoulders to release. Your chin to bob.
Your eyes to close, and open, and close. We open our senses.
We release ourselves from expectations. We recognise the moment we are in.
We are held.
Surrender to the tangible feelings of love and compassion.
Allow the vibration to extend outwards past your physical and energetic bodies.
RESTED -
Grab a soft blanket and any pillows needed for support.
We rest flat on our back. Place a pillow on the belly and feel the comfortable weight of it.
Close the eyes or gaze softly.
Enjoy three deep belly breaths. Feel the pillow gently up and gently down.
With the inhalation and exhalation feel the chest area expand.
Allow your breath to return to ease. Connect to the heart centre.
We release ourselves from expectations. We recognise the moment we are in.
We are held.

AROMATHERAPY for the HEART CENTRE
When using essential oils to open our heart centre we like to focus on flowers and fruits - rose, violet,
lavender, jasmine, rose geranium, sweet orange, lemon, bergamot, lime, and pink grapefruit.
Here is a simple blend you can try at home –
7 drops pink grapefruit
5 drops bergamot
5 drops rose geranium
3 drops lavender
Dilute the oils in 2 tablespoons of oil for massage, or in 1 teaspoon of odourless oil for
anointing or as a palm inhalation.
Add oil to your hands, rub to activate, cup your hands together and place at the heart area. Inhale and enjoy.
If you don’t have any essential oils handy, grab a citrus peel or a sprig of lavender from the
corner of your street, and rub vigorously between your palms. Cup and inhale deeply.
The physical and psychological effects of inhalation — versus skin absorption – are
immediate.
