TAROT for the WEEK AHEAD 

Every week I also draw a TAROT CARD for the week ahead.

The card becomes another doorway into the ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER REPORT which is a sensory, poetic reflection of the cosmic currents moving through the sky and through our lives. PAGE OF PENTACLES

There is a particular quiet that surrounds the PAGE OF PENTACLES. Not the stillness of waiting, but the stillness of first attention. The moment when the body leans forward slightly because something small and glimmering has appeared in the soil.

This is the card of the first seed.

After weeks of ECLIPSE pressure, emotional tides, and the strange suspension that often follows cosmic thresholds, the PAGE arrives not with thunder but with curiosity. The figure stands in a field holding a single coin as though it were a planet. Studying it. Turning it slowly in the light. Wondering what might grow if it were planted.

The energy mirrors the sky we are entering. The NEW MOON in PISCES dissolves what has completed. The EQUINOX opens the gate of the ASTROLOGICAL NEW YEAR as the SUN enters ARIES. MERCURY stations DIRECT and the mind begins to move again after its underwater wanderings. These are not the days of full harvest. They are the days of noticing the first green shoot pressing through the earth.

The PAGE OF PENTACLES speaks of beginnings that require devotion rather than urgency. A skill that wants learning. A project that needs patience. A new relationship with the material world that grows slowly through care and attention.

There is something about this card that feels very embodied. The weight of soil beneath fingernails. The scent of damp ground warming in the returning light. The body remembering how to build something real, one small movement at a time.

And yet the PAGE carries a small trick of the ego. Sometimes we look at the seed and wish it were already the tree. Sometimes we believe we should know more by now, be further along the path, hold something larger in our hands. The PAGE reminds us that wisdom begins precisely here, in the humility of learning, in the willingness to stand at the beginning without rushing the unfolding.

Under this ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER the PAGE asks a simple but profound question.

What are you willing to tend?

Not chase. Not force. Tend.

Because this week is not only about ignition. It is about the quiet moment before action when we recognise the seed that is actually ours to grow.
